A few days ago I started Bikram Yoga (“the original hot yoga”)
I am participating a 60 day challenge where I will be going to a 90 minute session every day, for 60 days, in a 110 degree room with 40% humidity to practice 26 postures to gain flexibility, build strength… and sweat.
I am on day 4 and already notice a dramatic improvement in my mind and body. The first day was brutal, and spent the first 15 minutes of class plotting how to get my money back- but since have fallen in love with it. The heat creates an instant runners high and allows you to get a deeper stretch.
This is a significant change//addition to my daily life and will post again with updates and progress. So far so good!
Have any of you tried or like Bikram?
